Part of the NEA-sponsored "Big Read Big Show".

I was asked to write a short English-language script based on Carlos Fuentes' "Chac-Mool." In this story, a Mexican collector purchases a life-size statue of the indigenous rain god Chac-Mool, only to have the statue gradually come to life and drive him away, taking over his home and identity.
